Copyright Notice for "Proceeding ICEBFG"
As part of the submission process for the "Proceeding ICEBFG", authors are required to agree to the following copyright notice:
-
Authors' Warranties: The author(s) warrant(s) that the manuscript submitted is their original work, has not been published before (except in the form of an abstract or as part of a published lecture, review, or thesis), and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The author(s) also warrant(s) that the publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, and – tacitly or explicitly – by the responsible authorities where the work was carried out.
-
Author's Rights: While authors retain copyright for their work, by submitting an article to "Proceeding ICEBFG", they grant the first publication rights to the journal. This allows "Proceeding ICEBFG" to publish the work online and in print, and to include it in the journal's archives and databases.
-
Licensing: Upon publication, the work is made available under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0). This license permits others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) the work, as long as the original author and source are credited, a link to the license is provided, and it’s indicated if changes were made.
-
Author's Responsibility: It is the author's responsibility to ensure that they have the rights to all materials used in their submission and that any necessary permissions have been obtained. Authors should also manage any potential conflicts of interest and disclose any funding or sponsorship that might influence the results or interpretation of their manuscript.
-
Copyright Transfer: In cases where an author's institution requires a formal transfer of copyright before publication, the author must comply with their institution's policies and provide the journal with a written confirmation of the transfer.
-
Reuse of Material: Authors are free to use their material in other publications, provided that the "Proceeding ICEBFG" is acknowledged as the original place of publication, and a link to the journal or the specific article is included.
By agreeing to this copyright notice, authors ensure compliance with ethical standards, protect their rights, and contribute to the dissemination of knowledge under a fair and accessible framework. This agreement is affirmed as part of the manuscript submission process to the "Proceeding ICEBFG."
