Abstract

This research aims to analyze the Supervision Management Strategy in West Lampung Regency in improving employee performance at the Lampung Province Highways and Construction Services Office. It is hoped that the results of this research can be used as consideration in efforts to improve employee performance in implementing supervisory management strategies. From an academic perspective, the results of this research can be used to increase knowledge and insight for students and can be used as material for consideration for further research. The method used in this research is qualitative method. Data were collected using interviews, the informant in this research was the Head of the Road Section of UPTD Region V, Lampung Province Highways and Construction Development Service, the data analysis technique was carried out in a qualitative descriptive manner. The research results show that the challenges faced by UPTD Region V at the Lampung Province Highways and Construction Department are indeed not easy in implementing the Supervision Management Strategy in West Lampung Regency. However, it is not impossible for the UPTD Region V Department of Highways and Construction Development of Lampung Province to synergize with the Head of the Road Section of UPTD Region V and all employees through the difficult phase that is occurring. So the strong will of employees also plays a major role in the success of the organization in implementing the Supervision Management Strategy. The role of the Head of the UPTD Region V Road Section of the Lampung Province Highways and Construction Service is as a mediator between the organization and employees and also as a supervisor in the field in monitoring the work of employees and foremen in the field.
